This is my finest achievement at the Badger Herald.  I couldn't have done it without my friends.

I was humble in this week's column.  I finally found a way to feature one of my favorite Ernest Hemingway lines into a piece.  It goes like this:

"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.”

I reviewed the new Jasper Johns exhibition at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA).  It's pretty neat.

Last Friday I attended First Fridays at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA).  Then I wrote about it.

In other news, I promised this wouldn't happen to me, but I think I'm starting to like Jasper Johns.  *sigh*

I watched some people dance, and then I wrote about it.  Tony came.  It was fun.

I am back from my writing hiatus.  In the registration week issue of the Badger Herald, I have a column on dieting and a review of a great book about one man's quest to fulfill every law of the Bible.
