consider the torsk

This is my finest achievement at the Badger Herald.  I couldn't have done it without my friends.

I don't know whether I'll be around here in the future, but I wish all of you great things.

I was humble in this week's column.  I finally found a way to feature one of my favorite Ernest Hemingway lines into a piece.  It goes like this:

"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.”
